About Us and Pip, Our VW Camper Van
Pip is a T2 VW bay window campervan in a beautiful teal colour with cream and teal interior. Newly refurbished, this stunning campervan turns heads everywhere she goes. In fantastic condition and fully equipped “Pip” is ready to take you on the charming, open roads of our county. You could not ask for better campervan hire in Cornwall.
Our camper van, Pip, has a 1.6 flat 4 traditional engine which will comfortably cruise at 50-60 mph giving you a range of 250 miles per tank. Being a traditional 1974 van, Pip has a 4-speed gear box, this will give you the advantage to take your time and absorb your beautiful surroundings.
Pip is fitted with 2 seat belts at the front and 2 on the rear, plus a lap belt positioned in the middle seat. She has a rock and roll bed with memory foam topper that sleeps 2 adults. There is also an additional bed in the pop-top which is suitable for 2 primary age children, or one adult.
On board is a 2-hob cooker, sink, and on-board water tank. Pip is fully kitted with saucepans, cutlery and crockery. We have also included an outdoor cooking grill to give you the alfresco dining experience in Cornwall.
Campervan Hire in Cornwall
Once you have arrived at your destination, Pip is fitted with a 240volt hook up supply, allowing you to use your home devices. When on the move, Pip has a 12-volt supply which will run the on-board fridge/freezer and lighting, allowing you to camp off grid if required.
If you require more space or an extra sleeping compartment, we have a drive away awning you may additionally hire . Perfect for when you want to explore the area from your chosen camping spot.
You will also find a retro classic radio with Bluetooth connectivity giving you the best of both worlds. This ensures you can be safe while using your phone in hands-free mode, to play your own music and provide sat nav.
Your Campervan Holiday
On your arrival at our residence in Wadebridge, your vehicle will be left safe and secure in Pip’s place on the driveway, awaiting your return. You will then be shown around Pip so that you’re familiar with all the functions of the on-board accommodation—so on arrival at your destination you will be confident setting up.
We want to make your holiday as relaxing and stress free as possible, so we have also included 24 hours roadside assistance and recovery, should the worst happen!
